air-cooled 911 ..?
That's a really tough one, they are so different. I couldn't begin to explain the differences technically. For me, on an emotional level, the driving experience in the 3.2 wins hands down. You forgive all its shortcomings, just because of what it is. The Cayman is just so sharp, and the feeling I get is more like how it used to be in my GTI days. Fun and chuckable.ORIGINAL: jonny boy
Another new toy Richard , xmas has come early this year ! Now, for the record, which do you enjoy driving most - this or the air-cooled 911 ..?
I'm happy I made the change from the Turbo, because that's what I wanted - a change. Given another 3-4 years I might be back in one. Who knows? Overall, I'd say I enjoy driving them equally. The novelty hasn't worn off yet, and I have a feeling it might take a while.

take all weathers and general abuse.
I had a go in a Cayman S and F355 on Croft circuit recently .
Both on my need to test shortlist. The cayman was very capable. Then i had a go in the F355 , and
despite its faults i bonded with it much more. Would be a great summer classic if any thing happens to the Targa.
Life is too short for only one car at a time. Enjoy !
