Silverstone Classic 2013

Is anyone planning to go to the Silverstone Classic as there's a display for 50yrs of the 911.
Would be nice if there was a good turnout for the best iteration.[:D]
I plan to come over with Pegasus and probably bring some buddies from Porsche Club Luxembourg.
I came over last year and found it was a great weekend.
PCGB has nice infield parking, so it'd be nice to get a contact name, so I can arrange parking passes for all Luxy cars.

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

Jon

The mag is "Porsche Post" - the main club mag - it is really good (this month especially) - you really ought to join the club Andreas.

hi Maurice,

All good and well but how many 993's ? i suspect we may be swamped by 996/7's !

Just had a run into the moors with the yorkishire region which was fun, but was very surprised that out of in excess of 40 cars only 3 993's !!

regards

Maurice

I'll be there saturday and sunday, with my 993 and a friends 911 g series booked in for the parade.

Hope to meet you there

regards

Hi Maurice

I'm booked in for both sat and sun, including the parade

Looking forward to it!

Best regards
Graeme

I'd love to hear from those definitely attending and on which day

Will be there all three days as usual, helping with the club and will be on the 911 parade, of course[:D]

Hi Maurice,

I booked a few months ago for the Sunday inc the parade lap. As I can't make it on Saturday I'm missing the 993 Turbo display that I had participated in the last couple of years. If your thinking of parking a good looking group of the finest iteration of our beloved 911's then count me in. Look forward to hearing from you.

Christian.

On the subject of tickets. I booked by phone back in march and still haven't received any tickets. Is this the norm for the classic ??

regards

Hi,

Yes, it's normal......the tickets normally only arrive a couple of weeks before the event.

Maurice - I will be there with Pegasus (modified 95 C2) which incidentally used to be owned by Silverstone Circuits Limited.
Far from a concours example, but a well cared for Daily driver for over 3 years, so far.........

Hope to see you all there (a little on Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday up to the parade - then drive back to Luxembourg)

Best rs,

Jon

Hi Maurice
My wife and I will be there all weekend (may even be arriving Friday night, not sure yet...) with our 993 C4S.
Very much looking forward to it!

Checking the confirmation from Seetickets - they say tickets will be sent out 14 days before event.

Regards
Jim
