SmartTop - here's how to order...

...Now all I need is the slightly technical ability to fit it when it arrives.

No technical ability required, if you can change a household light bulb then you can change this unit.
It comes with good, clearly illustrated instructions too.

Enjoy!

Thanks. If I get stuck I will ask you and Mark to help at either the Ace cafe or at the event in November. I expect it will be similar to the seat belt problem.....

Julian can explain that one [:D]

I've got in touch with Wilhelmy-it, and they have offered to honour the original groupbuy deadline to 20th October.

So there's still a little time to take advantage of this.

Mine also arrived in the post this morning.

Despite being a non-techie, I conquered my fears and successfully fitted it. It works a treat. I am really grateful for your efforts; another example of the benefits of PCGB membership.

Incidentally, I went to OPC Cambridge about the faint scratches on the side of the car. One of the managers had a look and then gave me the remnants of some compound made by 3M - and it worked - all I had to do was put it on with a soft cloth, wipe it off with a clean part of the same cloth and then polish over the treated area. He advised me fully and would not accept payment. I have ordered a touch-up stick - I suppose some consolation for the company.

They are looking forwards to the event on 6th November - all they need is a final comfirmation of numbers [I estimated 14 cars].

2 people who committed to ordering have not done so yet...

Wilhelmy-it have extended this offer for another few days, so if anyone was thinking of getting one - now is the time to do it!

The price is going up (Euro 179) and the Customs and Tax will not be pre-paid.
