smarttop

Apparently you can remove the standard relay, use som thin sellotape to cover pin no. 18 and then refit.

You still need to pull the handbrake one click to engage the handbrake light, so its not quite as versatile, but good enough.

Might have to investigate when the hardtop comes off ina few weeks time [;)]

This works fine, but you have no speed limiter so you have to be extra careful & it isn't one touch, you still have to keep your finger on the button.

Any problems Kish...?

All I would recommend is don't use it when on an uneven surface or when going over a bump. I just use it in slow moving traffic either coming to a stop or moving off. Got a good use of it earlier this month when the weather was good.

It works up to a certain speed (think 25mph) but I only tried it once to see if it works at that speed (and yes it does) but otherwise I have only used it has been at around 5-10mph. Very handy when coming home as I let it do its magic while I park the car and same when I drive off...

I've got one......BRILLIANT......very reliable and just un-plug the Porsche relay and plug in the SMART-TOP relay...EASY!
As stated, the benefits are Excellent and very handy when your at traffic lights and it starts to rain unexpectedly!![:)]
