So what are you getting on the economy front?

Hadn't reset mine for ages, had a look today as a good indicator of my combined driving - 23.4mpg - 3600cc btw

Not moaning as everyone of those 23.4 miles that I received courtesy of my gallon was fully enjoyed! : )

Out of interest how does that fair compares to the rest of you guys??

About the same for me - apart from one particularly frugal journey from south Wales to Folkestone when I 'achieved' an average of 40.7 mpg by driving at 55 mph al the way. Not so enjoyable but worthy of note. I reckon that the new 3.6 997.2 will achieve more than that if driven really carefully.[;)]

Generally I get just under 20, but a lot of my miles are commuting across town, and when I get a chance of a run I am usually giving it a good Italian tune-up. [;)] It doesn't help the economy being a Tip.

my obc shows around 25.2 mpg sometimes as high as 25.8 mpg !! and its a tip c4 75pno

For my 996 Turbo normally around 25mpg for a combination of city and 'A' class roads, but recently got 34 on a trip to the highlands cruising about 70 with the occasional burst of fun round the quiet roads. However the lowest Ive been while driving on public roads has been 19 with 14 on a track.

Normal average is early 20's, but seen sub-12mpg on the track... the lower the mpg the more enjoyment that is being had[8D]

About 24-25 running around. I have been known to get in the mid thirties on a run, but its no fun driving like a grandad!!

Part town and part 60mph I get between 22-24 mpg. Also read that if you less than 2000 rpm the injectors 'squirt' about 30% less fuel. Been trying it- coast under 2000rpm in 5th or 6th and give it a bit of welly up to 4500 in the other gears to get there = same MPG!![;)] Craig

Oops perhaps I give it a bit too much of the loud pedal ! Mine says 18.2mpg and that hasn't been reset in at least a year.

Mine seems about right for normal driving, normal in the sense of a little heavy foot once in a while anyway! In terms of motorway though, some people reporting 30+!! I'm sure I have never managed this when crusing at between 80 & 85. I'm taking my 911 on a 65 mile round trip on the M5 tomorrow, will reset the mpg before I head off! Let you know how she performs!

average 25 to 27 going to work, manage 30+ on motorway cruise and 36 on one journey (due to rain and traffic) but thats a one off i think, also had it down as low as 14 but least said about that the better
