Well Richard you have the eadvantage of not having the MOST Bus fibre optices form the hesad unit to the amp - just good old copper cables. Assuming the amps are somewhere near the same size it shouldn't be too difficult to swap them over. I don't know how Porsche split the frequencies though - I have never seen the sound pack amp out of the car, but i don;t think there are any frequency adjustments on the outside (probably done internally on the circuit). There are no separate crossovers that i know of either. Setting the Mak amp up might be more trouble than its worth unless you swap the speakers out too.

PS i should have said about the rear speakers earlier - these can be powered form the amp, or the head unit.
