...and how Des drove the perfect line at Eau Roge again.....albeit at 35mph....and that some race driver said his GT3 was the best GT3 he had ever been in....[

I'll try again! lost my first essay!
Great day on track. Just back from the Thermes. Got the book Hacki,thanks.
Drama unfolded as the day went on. Lots of oil and coolant from the newer cars. GT2 or 3 on fire. Panamera turbo towed back to pits after 2 mins.
Some hairy moments as the grip disappeared from the rear and we did some fish impressions!
They don't build them like they used to!
My Avatar came true. I could not shake off a Spanish inquisition by Josep. Melv was next for the treatment and Josep must be filming close up for his adult only page.
Des' missus confiscated the kettle and he did not get it back until we had all had coffee and teas after lunch.
Ian survived his first outing in Race unscathed but others had some battle scars. Olav lost his front splitter.
The pits were a good crack and Melv managed to get his long arms into my deep pockets! :O(
The event is probably only 2/3rds of the last couple of years as the credit crunch takes affect.
And Laurence the crepes are as good as last year! :O)
That's me finished with the driving so happy car is in one piece. I did find another French Cup car so will have to do some research on that one. I did meet Martin too so looking at shell nos!
Oh just managed to creep under the 110dB noise limit but it was close!

WOW another superb day at Spa. Hot Hot Hot!
Had some hot laps in the 993 Cup but it seems my light weight caused the off at Pouhon!
Too much understeer.
The boy arrived and we had a nice lunch at Jaques. It seems Vettel was in tears when they had a coming together in karts.
He was 13 years old at the time.

Hi chaps ..... well the kettle was out with Sean Edwards and the after 20 minutes hard track action the session was red flagged and in came Sean with cooking brakes! Well to say they were on fire would be an understatement ... as he casually laughed and said it's normal ..... he was trying[]

Thanks guys great pics. I'm not jealous really. I mean it's not like I decided to have two weeks in the states at the end of the month instead, only to find it might get binned due to the ash is it[] Have fun .
