Feel the need to qualify this. Stub axle failure at les combes (second right), meant the car veered left as I turned right, and I had no brakes (Due to the pads getting knocked out). Gravel stopped me just in the nick of time. Unfortunately that was my first full lap!! Thanks to Olav we got the car back on the road for Sunday. Although a brake issue curtailed fun. Further investigation required before drawing conclusions from that one.
 
Sorry Hugh I had been on the Leffe! Very lucky the car was in one piece after the stub axle sheared.

Where did you get the shell no.? It had carpets on the inside. Must look up some pics of the car racing.
