Hi all, I'm in need of a front hub for my 91 944 S2 with ABS. Old one has ...erm...issues and temporary one works but has no ABS.

Any help appreciated.

Gentlefolk,
Looking to fit a spare S2 engine I have into a another car I have aquired (sans engine). No surprise, there are a few bits and pieces missing. Now any of the parts can be found (at a price) however, it may well be someone, somewhere has odd bits they won't throw away, but wonder how they will ever get used? Not too worried about condition appearance wise, so long as they function. Parts I can immediately think of are... Set of cam cover bolts (or any number thereof), the mount for the crankshaft sensor. Set of inlet manifold bolts, clutch cover bolts, the bellhousing to engine bolts, and the funny little bracket that goes under one of them, that I still don't know what it does! (Any ideas?). The hall sender that sits behind the cam pulley... Probably all sorts of others, but that is what I can remember for now!
Many thanks,
Tref.

944 S2 Exhaust system wanted!
Penultimate major part required (the last is the dreaded fog/driving light/side light assembles, aka: unicorn poo).
I need an exhaust system to last long enough to get through an MOT, and get to the place about 50 miles away that will fit a nice shiny stainless steel system for me! As such, it doesn't have to be perfect, just cheap enough that it doesn't justify me hiring a trailer to get the exhaust fitted first. I don't mind if it needs a little patching up etc...
Anyone have something kicking arround too good to throw out but not good enough normally to put on a car?

Thanks,
Tref.

Hi All,

has anyone got a LHS combined fog/spotlight for a 1990 Porsche 944 S2? Complete item or just the glass? Suspect it will be a bit of a forlorn hope, but thought I'd ask.

If so, I can be contacted on 07930 238988

Many thanks, Laurence

Hi all.

Has anybody got a new/decent used, fat to slim, water hose that comes off the water pump, 951 106 237 04. OPC shut just now for parts and need one to get car on the road. It seems to be a turbo specific hose.

Ta

Stuart

Yes that looks like the correct hose. I would never have even contemplated CP4L for a hose like that. It must be a common hose to fail. Ended up ordering one from VW Heritage through eBay, £23 delivered, next day delivery. CP4L would have been about £16 odds with current 17% discount, oh well, not the end of the world. Some clown on eBay is selling a 2nd hand one for £30 which looks like it's been under the sea for 20 years, gave that a miss!

Cheers

Stuart

No problem - yes I always check them now for any parts as they sometimes have bits you wouldn't expect for a 30 year old car, they still do the refurbed a/c compressors and alternators as well...

Hi, does anyone know of a driver's side door window for a 968 Cabriolet that might be for sale? Ideally I just need the metal 'runner' that the glass attaches to at its base as mine has rusted through. So far I've only found one on a breakers yard but that doesn't look much better.

They are still available from Porsche, £790.01 inc vat,

If you cant find a second hand one, check your insurance and see if your covered for all glass, you know what comes next.

if your glass excess is £75 its a bargain

Hi all, I managed to get one from Porsche, price wasn't nearly as bad I anticipated. Will check my insurance next time as I hadn't thought of that. Thanks, Laurence

Hi, I’ve managed to obtain a secondhand complete glass from McPorsche who had more than just the rather dilapidated one shown on their site. I’ve used them in the past and they’ve been very helpful, and reasonably priced.

FRONT BREMBO's 4 pot's
After completing front strutts and suspension rebuild, I have a pair front Brembo 4pot's in black for sale.
These have only just been removed off my running 944S I've gone back to original fitment calipers whilst doing the strutts. They're fully functioning they have pads with 80% life left, no seal leaks either the only thing to report is the lifters have a slight wear when JMG porsche checked them out a while back. They're ready for fitment straight away but completeness will be worth refurbing so could be used as donors and then you could sell yours on, also have the pair of disc's and steering knuckles too up for grabs I'll provide pictures and provide disc thickness.
PM me if interested

WHEEL SPACERS IF WANTED:
I have a set of 4 wheel spacers that I used many many years ago. They are probably of no interest to anyone, but before I throw them out I thought I'd offer them on here:
32mm spacers with associated stud extenders to fit porsche 5 stud but may also fit VW and others as the pcd can vary slightly due to the design. Hope the pic works...
If you want them let me know. Collection or postage at your cost, otherwise FREE!
