Spoiler question

Just spoken to the OPC parts department and tehy said "there is no front lip spoiler for a C2, only a C4S"

The guy did say maybe best to speak with their tech, just to make sure.

I did say that I have seen a short black lip spoiler on other cars with fixed rear spoilers...... but he just repeated the "not on a C2"

After speaking to my local OPC again they said it was only available with a new front bumper !!!

So I tried another OPC and after some hunting around they found the part in the Techequip catalogue. There isn't a picture of the part, but it is listed in the parts list for the Aeropack.

Part # 996.505.555.01 £36 inc vat

I've ordered it and will let you know how I get on.

That part is shown on the list I posted earlier. It will be interesting to see what it looks like - £36 worth of rubber strip! It's a shame there wasn't an illustration in the PET.

Popped into OPC Tonbridge to pick up my £38 piece of plastic... and geeze it's expensive for what it is. I was expecting it to have some metal clips and screws, but nope... just moulded clips that go into the underneath of the front bumper.

I would have taken a picture, but the helpful parts chap said "do you want me to get someone to fit it?". I guess at £38 they can afford a 2 minute wander out to the carpark by a tech.

I was/am very sceptical if it would make any difference....... but..... there does seem to be a very subttle difference to the front end...... it seems smoother. It may be 100% psycological, but I don't care either way.... it does seem different.

I'll know for sure when I get chance to "stretch it's legs"
