Spook's GT3 arrives!

Brilliant car, can't wait to read how you get on with it. If they aren't sold out as PH seems to suggest), I might try and convince Mrs Smith we need one next year.....

Looks stunning Mike!
The first one to leave PC Bristol was Guards Red and the second , which I saw yesterday ,is Carrara White in comfort spec.
Apparently the first could be heard accelerating up the road from inside the dealership!!
Wishing you a very happy New Year and look forward to seeing you on the next register outing,
Andy

Of course, it was red [:D]

Lovely looking car.

I've been lucky enough to see the cars that have left Bristol OPC [:)]

So Mike..... Have you done the deed and picked the new steed up? What an amazing machine, very jealous :)

Photos please!!

All the best!

Awesome looking car Mike, I can't wait to here what you think of the way she sounds and drives.
A YouTube clip would be good :)

Rubbish weather at the moment Russell, so only done 100 miles in the wet so far, but I did give a few comments on the GT3 forum last weekend with my initial impressions.
It really is a beast though and can't wait for the roads to dry so I can be a bit more adventurous...... Some guys on PH's have the right idea and have taken their cars straight over
to Europe to find warmer climes in which to run their cars in.
Regards,
Mike.

Lovely car, guess Porsche have done nothing about producing a log book for track running of these centre lock equipped vehicles. I still sense an issue with resale values of these models in the future!

Hi Guys, have I missed something about the centre lock wheels on the track?

My Turbo S should arrive this month and will have the standard centre locks, is there something I should know about track use?

Cheers

No need to worry with a 40 mph speed limit. [:D]

Thanks Alan, your assistance is much appreciated.

I will have to read this carefully but I assumed that the centre lock wheels would if anything be stronger and more suitable for the track particularly as they are a dearer option
on other Porsche models!

I wasn't that keen to have Ceramic brakes though as I have heard that these have to be changed out at intervals but the S does not give you a choice.

Cheers

Michael

Yes having to check them at around 100,000 miles is a bit of an imposition, [8|] but once you've had them, you'll be reluctant to return to steel rotors and with 410mm diameter at the front, stopping shouldn't become a problem - even at 80 mph! [;)]

Clive.
