Sports and Classic Car Weekend

Just back from Sledmere - in the end 12 cars appeared from the club which was a great turn out. Thanks to all who came esp. members who we haven't seen before - hope you were made to feel welcome.

The weather was kind to us and the venue was good with excellent organisation from MG CC and North Humberside Motor Club.

MGCC, who invited us, was delighted with the turn out and have said that we will be invited again next year ( hopefully it won't clash with Goodwood and Classic Le Mans ).

Special thanks go to the member from East Midlands who made the trek up from Nottingham in his immaculate Supersport Coupe and to Richard who brought out his 993 turbo even though there were one or two grey clouds in the sky!

12 is a very good turnout especially as it's the first time we have attended this event. Glad you all enjoyed it. We were in the east of the country so knew that the weather would be good for you.

Very good day out, interesting conversations "grumpy old men!" comes to mind especially re fuel prices etc.
Forwarded photos to Andrew and Ian but not yet appeared - everyone must be having problems.

Standard of classic cars was fantastic - almost tempted to buy another!!!!!
