..........with the car, that is!
Only a small thing, so to speak, but it makes me happy.[:)]

The bottom lip painted looks much better. But I actually prefer the original silver grill slates.

Its a 996 in the second picture?
(well according to Porsche Post it is [;)] )

Good job its a free world as my opinion is exactly the opposite to Alex's [&o]...

I've always thought that when I order my turbo (S [:D]) I'd have to have the black skirts painted all round.

A trick of light! They are still silver!!

I thought they were referring to Geoff's as the 996![;)] Twas not the caption I sent in with the photo, needless to say!

That's the thing you see. If you'd bought a nice mid grey car the black splitter wouldn't be so obvious nor would the titanium coloured air intake slats. Savings all round. Every little helps!

I find red quite conservative [:)]

(I hope you have your sunglasses packed for this weekend [;)])

I thought they were referring to Geoff's as the 996!

Just back from 2 weeks hols and catching up,

Clearly the caption on that superb picture in this months post refers to your car Alan as the 996 everyone knows the clearly visible rear aerokit spoiler belongs to a 997, anyway they were not manufacturing 997's when 51 reg's came out !!

3 pictures again in this months post even though 2 were pretty much the same photo.

Geoff

At the risk of turning this into another gratuitous photofest here is another of the "996" [;)] red splitter - this time at Combe last Saturday.

I can confirm that the new splitter took at least 2 seconds off our moderators previous lap times as well as making the car look good. Nice wheels for a Gen 2.

The clubs day at Castle Coombe was great fun, all you 997 owners should do at least one of these days to see what your cars can do.
