Spot the difference..........

Captain

The front NS tyre is off the track!
I wouldn't wish to get into a legal debate about the matter but I think it is generally regarded as the OS - or were you referring to National Savings which I will soon have to raid to get a new set of tyres all round.[:(]

Obviously black splitters help keep the front wheels on the ground or I was just too slow to be airborn like our moderator

Nah! Looking at the position of your wing mirror against the "Castle Combe" sign that was taken a few metres further on when your wheel had obviously come back down to Mother Earth. Alternatively rumour has it that the blue car pictured may have a stiffer set up which may (possibly) help to keep both front wheels on the ground around the bendy bits.[;)]
Both drivers look equally serious about their task though despite it being great fun![:D]

Looks like you are correct Bob, black splitters do keep the wheels in contact with the tarmac. And as I pointed out to the Moderator they seem to induce less understeer even on old fashioned outdated machinery!

Hang on a mo. If you are referring to the hand position on the wheel then Bob's is exactly the same as mine. You, clearly, have taken the wrong line..........[:D][;)][:D]

Now that is indeed quite possible, and more likely to have resulted from lack of talent rather than wanting to check the grip off line.[;)]

I know that you are a pilot Alan but you have failed to reach Vr as only one wheel is off the ground. Suggest you remove the rear spoiler and paint the front splitter black!

Great pic, if you are not careful I wll post mine of Nurburgring with all four wheels firmly planted!

Cheers

I was practising my "wing down" crosswind landing technique Mike!

Yes I was forced to resort to that last week but forgot I was in a Seneca and nearly had a prop strike! Straight and level for me please.

I see that you have severe wx too, we have a little white precipitation here but fortunately ground temp well above zero. Flights delayed naturally!

Cheers
