7th November 2020 and they have moved our Friday night booking accordingly.
Thanks Graham
Thats fair enough, my Porsche won’t be out in November so I’ll just cancel my hotel as that’ll be more than likely Bonfire weekend in Hexham so won’t need hotel anymore!
Many thanks
Paul
As you know, the Solberge Hotel initially insisted on a £50.00 non- returnable deposit as clearly indicated on the Forum post.
However, despite this we can assure you all we have been working hard with them to find the best resolution for us all, regarding our postponed booking.
Obviously, the hotel would prefer we reschedule rather than cancel, but so far the dates they have given us simply aren't great, being mostly in November. Obviously this creates a whole new heap of problems, as we recognise some members will have their cars sorned or weather conditions could so easily be a factor during the later months.
If an amicable agreement cannot be reached I feel, realistically. the hotel should allow us to cancel at no cost to our members due to force majeure, we await their response.
As soon as we have an answer or a solution to this issue, we will of course be contacting everyone to discuss their options further, until then I hope you will bear with us just a little longer, while we work closely with the management of the hotel to find a resolution.
