Squeeky screen - latest ideas?

ok - Specialised are going to sort my small rust patch but Karl also noticed that automonkey has replaced my glass with a 'generic' screen that automonkey assured me was IDENTICAL to the removed screen. Having looked again in detail it is clear the replacement is slightly smaller so I suspect that isn't helping...

Next step - asking insurers what can be done about automonkey taking a genuine porsche screen out and putting a cheap one in - surely that is poor form?

Pulling the seal out and cleaning around the screen has helped the squeak and I am lining up a brace too!

Mine's not squeaked for ages - I read this and now it's squeaking....

Same here!! bloomin thread is cursed. But my squeek sounds to be coming from inside too - from the dash/screen junction area... only started after an internal valet and is intermittant but intensely annoying. I've found if i get some Teflon tape and roll it up and shove it in my ears it helps.

If it started after an internal valeting, then, believe it or not, it might well be the sunroof headlining having a "˜little creak'[;)].

My screen creaks occasionally (I don't mind as long as it isn't all the time), but discovered that when I just lightly touched the sunroof headlining on my side whilst driving, I found it stopped this other source of "˜little creak'[:D].

Oh dear, this is an extremely "˜anorak' subject[&:].

Mine used to creak, had new seals etc... gradually it got worse again & is now beyond the point it was in the beginning! Getting it sorted again. Something to do with 'tape', seal etc... no idea any more - all I know is it is loud and very noticeable.
