standard wheels for S2

standard 944s2(sorry no idea what they are called) wheels

I guess they would be Design 90's?

You could try Jasmine (or what ever they are called this year) as they get standard wheels in part exchange for more exotic footwear.

"Standard" and "Cleaning" and "Good Condition" seems to be a bit of a running theme with your postings on this car Helen - we don't have a potential concourse on our hands do we []

Helen,

Mine were refurbed when I got it. They look like new. (pix of car HERE )

Graeme (944_S2) just had his all refurbed up here in Jockland for £160. Just need new centres and they should look good too.

I'm considering some Cup1s, so may be wanting rid of mine..... not 100% decided yet. Front Yoko AVS with approx 5mm left, rear Toyo T1S with only 500 miles on them.

Tart!!!!!

You could also try Simon at Porsche Apart, or even Porsche shop as an exchange. Places like these will exchange your old wheels in return for refurbished ones so they should be like new anyway. I'm hoping to do it soon, just other things always seem to take priority over new wheels.[;)] They will be in the region of around £260 exhange for refurbished ones I have found.

Why do that when it costs about £40 per wheel to get them refurbished.

YIP I got them done properly for £40 each and am very happy with them, the only marks on them now are where there was bad decay/delaminated paint for a long time - and those areas are few and only noticable looking closely where there are dimples in the paint. acid dipped / shot blasted / painted / laminated / baked / refitted balanced and st st valves.

Do they do other colours than silver? One of my Cup 1's is a bit doggy and all 4 are much too silver for my taste.

As if you need any proof, but here is a pic of one before

Oh nasty [:'(]

Exactly, that is the owrst one admitadly - but it is still shocking, well used to be.

They painted them the same standard Porsche colour (and is a much harder paint) with no metalic flecks in it like they do most others, and can do blue flecks as a subtle tint, but that's the choice from that place. If you see some show cars their alloys have colours/tints tothem so it must be possible, but probably more costly as well.

It took me long enough to find a set of genuine ones for track wheels, so I hope you'll understand if I pass on the offer [;)]

Eeeeewwwww, 16" cups. I don't think (based on your comment) I'll be offending you if I say they are HORRIBLE!

Ditto Fen (but in a much more compasionate way) [;)]

If I had a set of cup1s sitting there I'd be asking if you wanted to make me an offer for my Design90s...... bugg4r []
