Steering wheels

There did used to be, but whether there still is I dont know. Buttercup sells them, I believe. In fact; Simon may have been the first person to offer this outside the OPC network. I think that they cost about £175 then. Genuine 968 wheels didnt used ot be that expensive, but again: its been a long time. Youre not tempted by my mint wheel then? [:D]

Nice. I have a 968CS style wheel but fancy something a bit more "race car" and perhaps 1" less diameter. That Momo is rather nice.

I got my CS wheel from JZ Machtech at £150 + vat but that was 7 years ago. At the time Simon Butterworth had them for a little more as Simon just said

SB was selling them ten years ago IIRC. I sold the last 968 wheel that I had for £200 in September 2001, it was like new however, and the fellow who bought it was replacing his own stolen wheel (from a station carpark whilst he was at work!) and he needed an embossed center. Simon had been offering wheels from the OEM supplier for a year or two then, although they had a plain center. The Prototipo and the Monte Carlo (post 17) wheels both suit Porsche and have a degree of originality about them: the MC wa sa cost option and the Prototipo has been used in competition Porsches for decades.
