Suffering from a bout of indecision and thought I'd see what others think. I've had a really good offer on my 4s TD Panamera, which is very low mileage (just 11k!) and highly-spec'd. As the mileage suggests, it doesn't get a lot of use, because I generally avoid using it around town and where parking might be tight, but I'm thinking of getting into a hybrid Cayenne. The choice is a simple one really - on the one hand, the Panamera is in unmarked condition, a wonderful place to be and gives me 40+ MPG, or I could swap to a similar low miles Gen 3 Cayenne Hybrid, that gives me very similar ambience, if not the same, sporty drive and fuel economy. I could just hold on to the Panamera and continue to enjoy it of course, but I've got a good offer and I just have a nagging concern that there's an uncertain future - maybe additional taxes/clean air charges could be inflicted upon diesel drivers and have an impact on future sale/trade-in values?
And before anyone asks, I am aware that the Cayenne isn't really any smaller than a Panamera! I'm just overly precious about the Panamera for some reason. That might just be because it feels bigger than the Cayenne - largely because of the lower seating position. Any views - especially from owners of both cars - would be much appreciated!
