Hi Paul, just been looking at the Bentley wiring diagram. If I remember correctly yours is a MY87 even though it was registered in 88.

Can you confirm what works and what doesn't on the R/N/S?

Tail light?
Stop light?
Brake light?
Rear fog?
Reversing light?
High level stop light?
Both number plate lights?
Anything else which doesn't work?

Having looked at the Porsche wiring diagram in more detail; if the O/S number plate light is working and the N/S isn't and all other R/N/S lights don't work then the common element to all these is a connector in the loom located somewhere close to the rear light assembly.

Does the high level stop light work?

Ok we have side/brake/reverse but the indicator which was working now squeals ,the offside is ok
any ideas MOT is immanent stay up late thinking Iam so close
Paul

Glad to here you got it sorted.

If you're around this weekend I'll drive over and see the car.

Excellent work Paul, well done and thanks for keeping us all up to date on progress. Its been good to follow your progress throughout the whole process. I'm so pleased you have had support along the way, they are some good friends you have. I can't wait to see the car in the flesh, and you of course!
