Strut Brace

i got it on very easy to do, only prob is i have to cover it over with the floor carpet cuz theres no slots for it to fit round the two brackets,
i didnt want to cut it but i might have to,
whats your thoughts on doing this, have you ?
 
For anyone contemplating the fitting off a strut brace - don't split the carpet in way of the brace end pieces. Mark carefully and with the brace disconnected from the ends make as small an incision as it needs to poke the brace fixing through each side. A neater finish can be had by sewing an edging around the cut. Sad really?? My cabby felt better for the addition of a brace, a carbon fibre one but most will do the same job. Martin
