Summer Drive and Dine - Burford/Kingham - 31st August

This is the last shout for the Summer Drive and Dine this coming Sunday. If you haven't already said you're going to be going, and your name's NOT on the list above, please could you let us know before midday tomorrow (Wednesday 27th) so we can confirm exact numbers with the restaurant. Many thanks.

Just to let you know that we are now all fixed up for our Summer Drive and Dine this Sunday. To save you having to look back at earlier posts in the thread, the plan is to meet between 10.00 to 10.30 am at the [link=http://www.cotswold-gateway.co.uk/]Cotswold Gateway Hotel, Burford[/link] for coffee. We will leave Burford around 11.00 am to drive in convoy through the Cotswold countryside to arrive at the [link=http://www.millhousehotel.co.uk/]Mill House Hotel[/link] about midday where we have a table for 14 booked for us at 1.00 pm. If you need to contact us on the day please call Alan's mobile: 07785 928 687. Look forward to seeing you all there. Fiona.

A very enjoyable drive out today. Weather was warm and sunny. Company was excellent, although it was a shame that there were a few who didn't make it. Coffee and biscuits at the Cotswold Gateway Hotel in Burford, followed by a leisurely drive through Northleach, Stow on the Wold, a stop for a photoshoot near Moreton in Marsh then through Moreton past the PCGB clubhouse and on to Kingham for a good lunch and chat at the Mill House Hotel. A few photos of the day below. With apologies for the quality!
