Summer Meeting Scotland /the northern boys

Ok I was chatting to Martin ( rs2k) today and we both think we should try and sort out a meeting for us boys in Scotland and the lads in the north. (frenchy ruddy etc and you east coast boys )

So first question is where? Gretna? Carlisle? Moffat ? Penrith ?

Second when ? July ? August ?

So come on boys and girls whats it to be?


Lunch at a pub ? Or picnic in a park ?

Some of us will be at Porsche in the Glen. Brian puts on the show of the summer for Porsche's in Scotland. But I'm talking about a 924 944 968 get together and chat not a show.We used to meet at Alistair's place fairly frequently. Its a totally informal type of thing that we are looking for. We might even get Brian to bring your old 944 Alan.

Don't sell it short Alan [:D] we had over 130 attend !! Not just from Scotland a few guys came up from the Cumbria area as well .

Think we are thinking of just a meet up and natter, very informal and a few like minded Pork owners in the sunshine [:D] I'm playing a Charity Golf Competition that day
 
Yep I was thinking of meeting and having a natter etc. I can't do the 27th as I'll be in the mediterranean sunshine.
 
Last week in August and first week in September is a no from me, apart from that i am preety much okay anytime, i will probaly be going to the Yorkshire Porsche Festival at Lotherton Hall just off the A1 nr Leeds we could meet up and park together, bring the coleman shelter and camping stoves and deckchairs ?
