I looked at the details for this fun day earlier and entered the post code into the SAT Nav...275 miles...I was thinking to myself...yes that will be ok...overnight stay etc.....son told me off...'don't be so bloody stupid dad, it's a brand new engine and not even mapped yet'.....guess i was told....:) another time chaps...i have fond memories of a 944 cumbria trip many years ago where a number of us stayed up there for a few days....good times and beautiful roads to play with...only one speed camera in the county too I was told...bet it's a different world today....:( Pete

1st would be better , as I'll probably go to kames show. I went last year and it was a good afternoon with a good mix of cars. or we could all go to the show at kames

Did Kames today. It was a good day with a nice mix of cars.We had a line of 44's and a 924s . Had a good run home with a 987 Boxster in pursuit. I think he got a fright when we were running along in procession and passing slower cars then when the road eventually cleared and the old car in front squatted a bit and disappeared into the distance. He spent the next ten miles trying to catch me.

Anyway does anyone on here fancy going to the show at Dumfries on Aug the 16th.
