Food, as usual at the Bistro was excellent [;)] ( and no, I am not on commission ( spelling?) as Peter cannot log onto this forum for some reason [:)]

Another great turnout today considering the weather!!!
The food and the venue were both great as well as the company.

Campbell, great to meet you and your pal.......sorry I can't remember his name!

Sorry I didn't make it folks, would have been nice to see you all again, but got stranded at London airport so whole weekend had to be shifted 12hours.....so never gave the boys back until after 1 on Sunday.

See you all soon

Well, thanks to Scott and Kim for organising a great outing - good restaurant, good food, good company! More importantly, can I record the amazing generosity of all those who decided to sponsor me to do the Cresta Run in St Moritz at the end of the month in aid of Cancer Research UK. It was really just a mid-life crisis thing when I signed up to do it (and yes, I do plan to live to over 100!) but thanks to Karen it's now raising money for a cause which is particularly important to me.

Apologies to the moderator if you're not allowed to mention this sort of thing. I just wanted to thank everyone for their fantastic response. The bad news is that I now can't chicken out! I shall be posting pics afterwards (if I still have any fingers to operate my new laptop) and if you want a real laugh, look at the YouTube vids of people spilling out of the course. Just Google Cresta Run. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

See you all in Feb - maybe!

Richard, it was lovely to see you too and as I am so fond of you if you do chicken out then you can still put my sponsor money to Cancer Research, however I am the only one probably going to say that, so yeah, you are right you cannot chicken out can you [;)]

I take my hat off to you doing that, my mid life crisis was my TVR and losing four stone in weight, you had to outshine me didn't you [8D]

What date do you head off??

Good luck, stay safe and have fun!![;)]

I have seen Richard ride his Honda VFR - if he were a cat - there would only be maybe one or two lives left !

try not kill yourself !

Brian, you're a star! For simplicity I'm just going to Gift Aid the whole sum in my name, so if you're happy with that, we can sort it out at the next Sherbrooke meet.

I think the clips are faked, the daughter's BF says you can go down slowly if you want to - we'll see................... Slowly might be quite boring though. I get 5 runs for the fee so might need more than 2 lives. [:D][:D][:D][:D] Anyway I'm away 24-29 Jan so watch this space for some pics!
