Sunday Brunch Scramble - Bicester - 26 April 2015

UPDATE (15/04/2015): Just to let you know that we have just heard from the organisers who tell us that ALL display places have now been filled and they are unable to accept further bookings. We have 61 Porsches booked to display in our 50-car dedicated area! More details can be found in [link=https://www.porscheclubgb.com/regions-registers/regions/south-east/cotswold/events/2015/april/sunday-brunch-scramble-april]our Events Area[/link]. Alan.

Thanks, Alan - looking forward to it in some warmer (hopefully) weather (couldn’t get much colder than the Jan meet).

If you're going to the Bicester Heritage event this weekend, you will have already have bought your tickets. For those who haven't received it yet, the organisers have just forwarded the following email to everyone who's registered: "We are writing with regards to your order xxxx-xxxx-xxxx for 'Sunday Brunch Scramble - Classic Cars, Motorbikes and Sports Cars' ticket(s) at Bicester Heritage in Bicester. Thank you for pre-registering for Bicester Heritage’s 5th Sunday Brunch Scramble on 26th April, we look forward to seeing you this weekend. Please ensure you bring your ticket with you as you will be asked for this on arrival. There will be a traffic management system in place to guide you onto the site so please take note of local road signage as you approach. Bicester Heritage has a new events entrance on the Buckingham Road that will bring you in via the airfield. Our main entrance will be for emergency vehicles and pedestrians only. All postal tickets have been dispatched. To print your at-home tickets please refer to you confirmation email which has a download link to enable you to print your ticket. If you have misplaced the confirmation email before printing the ticket please contact our booking agent – Gigantic on 0115 8077900. We look forward to seeing historic vehicles from 09.00am and modern cars from 10.30am." Points to note: 1. Entrance: The organisers will be using a different entrance to the one previously used. Please follow their direction signs to the new entrance. 2. Entry time: Just to clarify, if you are one of the 61 pre-registered Porsches displaying in the allocated Porsche area, please plan to arrive as soon after 09:00 as you can make it - ignore the 'modern cars' arrival time - so we can park you in good time in the display area. ALL 2 and 2+2 seater 2-door Porsche Sports cars IRRESPECTIVE of its age have been categorised as 'classic' or 'historic' by the organisers. 3. Marshalling: With over 1200 cars registered to display it's going to be very busy getting the displays set up so the organisers have asked if we could take responsibility for parking our cars in our display area. If you could help out with this by arriving at 09:00 and acting as marshals please email us at: r31@porscheclubgb.com. Thanks. Alan & Fiona.

Shame; same day as the Milton Keynes Classic Tour event. Route may take us out towards Bicester, so may bump into a few of you......(though will be in my non-Porsche).

Have a ticket entry for the 911 but at the time of booking noticed that the Modern's booking was closed. On the lookout for a spare ticket. Asking if anyone that does have a Modern's entry ticket and needs to cancel during the next few days, then I would be more than happy to buy the ticket from them rather than it go unused. Happy to pay a small premium too. [:)]

There are some pics of the event in [link=https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.asp?m=878919&mpage=1&key=&#878984]this thread[/link] in the R31 area.

Thanks to you too Paul for all your help and support and all the R10 members who came along. Alan & Fiona
