SW Friday OPC meet

We look forward to hearing about the track day Bob! I won't be coming up to Combe this time - too much to do down here like polishing up my Wurzel accent! Want to get a few more miles on the car first but those wheels and tyres that are sitting in the garage will soon get some use!! I think JBM is at CC on Thursday in his GT3? Weather looks set fair for a while yet.[:)]

I received the email about spaces available this Thursday at CC, vicinity wise it would have been great plan but a little to late in the day to be able to put everything in order prior [:(] Have fun Bob...[:)] garyw

Sorry we couldn't be with you for this - hope the weather holds out and have a great time.

Alan is correct (as usual!) - jbm will be at Castle Combe on Thursday. Weather looks pretty good so hopefully if no 'offs' I should be able to give the car a quick clean before heading off on Friday to Exeter OPC! I'll see you there, Bob, I'm in the black Gen 1 GT3, all the best, John

Well as per the whole weekend, the weather to welcome us to Exeter OPC was fantastic. Not only that but a really warm welcome from the dealer Principal Kevin Turner (3rd from right) and his team. They checked over the cars of those that wanted them to and indeed found some faults that some were not aware of (including myself) whilst giving the majority a clean bill of health- also giving us a chance of that rare oppurtunity to have a look at the underside of our cars. Those that had requested had the Nitrogen fill done on our tyres for just £10- giving us a weekend to check out the results [:D] For me a special thanks as they spotted a leaking radiator on my car, it could have ruined my weekend away but they offered a solution for me to top up my car with. Considering we were visiting guests of a register from outside of their usual network area, I found this to be a really good support of the club and the brand in general.
