are they fibreglass or plastic?

i take it they come with mirror glass and not just the housing?

sorry if my questions sound dumb ....

do they fit on a 944 without having to alter the doors?

do they come with gaskets etc?

what would be approx total price including tax & delivery?

Tony,

I presume these are RHD mirrors - is that right?? Are they available only with 944 bases or can you get 964 bases too?? It's only the bases that differ between LHD/RHD and the 944/964/928

I presume you could sort out the lack of heating by replacing the glass with a Porsche OEM glass (with heating) at great cost.

There are always 964 owners after teardrops so there might be a market there too if all the answers are right.

Regards

Dave

If the glasses are of otherwise equal quality I'd swap my heated ones that have no wiring with a pair that aren't heated.

Just being a miserable git, but I've got genuine teardrops and can't sleep at night. [8|]

If anyone is offered a used set, PLEASE be sure to check where they came from. It's the old car-boot sale thing, but if no-one will buy them from a bloke in the pub, or on-line auction houses [;)] then there's no incentive to rip them off our cars!

Also be aware that there is a difference between LHD and RHD mirrors. I know this after buying a genuine set for a LHD S2 from a UK OPC and having to jigger around the motor mounts inside to get the right range of adjustment.

Hi sorry been away for a few days, will make enquiries on the questions, and get back to you all,
Tony

Have you mentioned this to OllieW - Forum Buys - section dedicated to such offers, may get a wider audience.
Cheers,

Is it just the adjustment range or are the bases different? as indicated by computamedic above?
Tony

I thought the actual mirror housing is different. It is effectively twisted more to change the angle of the actual housing on the passenger side. If you look closely the mirros are not symmetrical and are at different angles.
