Tempted to buy a 2003 4.5S. Help!

ORIGINAL: RGL55

Pics of Si's car do look good, especially at 104k miles. Posts on mileage survey thread do add confidence in owning a higher miler, but too early in my search to take the plunge.

Mate, it's like a car half it's age and half it's mileage.

It's got a years porsche warranty and fully serviced so you don't really have anything to worry about except tyres and brakes....everything else is covered.

TBF, you could buy it today for £15k and sell it on 6months time for the same price, these b Cayennes as right at the bottom of there money and aren't falling anymore.

If you wanted to buy it, I have a mate ( who looked at the car for me ) who lives in Colchester who could even bring it for you ( I'm saying that without asking him of course LOL )

You said it didn't 2 of your boxes, one being CC ( which is easy to sort ) and the other being the colour ? You know back is dirty all the time but silver is much more forgiving [:)]

Seriously though if you are interested I'd be happy to talk to you or send you more pictures. Your kid(s) deserve those DVD screens :0)

Peter, looks great and does tick almost all my boxes, but probably just a couple of grand too rich for me, although I'm sure it's worth every penny! Not sure I could trade quickly enough for you anyway as wasn't planning to be changing quite so soon and not all my ducks are in a row yet.
Are you going for a new one? Certainly new diesel looks fab!
Graeme

Now who sounds like a car salesman[:D] seriously though, tempting though your offer is, I think I want to take a little more time to search the market to see if I can find one that does meet all my exacting requirements.
Regards,
Graeme

Yup, trying a diesel this time around.

First, I must apologise for not having responded to your post, thought I had, but must be old age [:(]

Maybe it's because I'm new, but I can't find my way to the forum for sale section, perhaps you can guide me?

Get in touch when you're back as I'm not in a great rush....just want to find the right car.

Regards,

Mines not in the sale section, this is a link

Back to the original question: Buy one with top spec and FSH. As for the mpg - wear slippers or you will get 13-15 around town from 4.5S.[:D]
