The National Event - Porsche Club GB Festival 2009

Just bought my ticket for Saturday 11th. Travelling from York with my son so hope it's worth the long journey.
Just done Harewood and Chatsworth and enjoyed them. What's the weather forecast??

I'll be there on Saturday - my first time out at this club event. Looking forward to meeting a few compatriots.

I've just booked my ticket for the Sunday. Its a Midnight Blue, Savannah Beige interior Boxster if you need it for display.

See you there!

From what I've been reading in PP and here, I don't think we are having a display as such, but we will be parking by register.

So, remember you are driving a Boxster when someone directing cars asks you what it is on the way in [;)]

Thanks to all those who have volunteered cars though, and if things change I'll let you know [:)]

Oi! You think we can't tell a Boxster driving towards us from a Boxster driving away? [;)][;)]

Sorry to keep asking Mark but what time idearly would you like people to be parked up by? Or can we come and go as we please? Got a couple of hours journey up to the event so trying to work out what time to leave.

Pete.

All Porsches will be part of the display in the same way all Porsches are in the Anonymous Concours.

If, as a Register, you want to make something of a display in your own right then go for it. 944's have done Red,Black,Red,Black,Red........ a couple of times which looks quite cool. You could always do Silver,Blue,Silver,Blue [;)]

You could even do forwards, backwards, forwards, backwards. [:D] Just kidding.

Is anyone planning to drive from London to Blenheim Palace on Saturday or Sunday? I'm not yet sure which day I will be attending but it might fun to travel in convoy.

Hammad.

I really don't know -sorry - Gates open at 8, but I'm sure you don't want to be leaving at 6 !

What we would do with a load of Boxsters parked up at 7:30 I have no idea - I can't see all the trade stands being open then, and the house sure won't be.... Maybe we can amuse ourselves taunting the falcons so the display is extra interesting...

I'd say if you get there by 10 then that would be great - no doubt someone orgainising who actually has information will jump in if I'm wrong...

Ok thanks Mark look forward to seeing you all next saturday

Simple. At this stage you'd probably have to pay on the gate.
£29 for 1 day (car and 2 people) or £39 for both days.

Please come and say hi. I've been to Ruf a few times and I'd love to see your car [8D]
