I also meant to get in touch with you. Whilst having a sort out of magazines, I came across some French ones with Cup race results/reports. Only a page in each I think but wondered if you'd like them? Could take to Volksworld show on Sunday if you're there.

I understand that Church commitments are more important on a Sunday, although I am happy to worship at the VW altar at times!!
I'm not sure if I can make it to Oulton as spectator as may be picking up the van, but may head up that way after....

This reminds me of my old VW camper - Savannah Beige and white roof with Devon pop-top.
It was a bay window built in 1969 in the weeks between ending production of the splitty and launching the bay - it came out of the factory with a bay window front with big bumper, bay sides and a split style rear with small lights and curvy bumper. Apparently they did this kind of thing in those days - seems they just raided the parts bin to use up whatever parts were lying around. [&:]
