new rear discs,
new rear pads,
new rear calipers,
new sensors (think for pads and also to do with the light on the dash)
New handbrake cable
2 new tyres
balancing etc
charged me £4 to dispose of old tyres, lol
£10 sundries
£140 labour
(Will update exact costs tomorrow)
All supply, fit balance etc.
£704 (inc vat)
I have to say, it has made SOO much difference, the handbrake now is 2 clicks and its firmly on, the car stops like never before and feels a lot safer. The brake pads light on the dash still hasn't gone out, he said it could be an electrical fault but i can clearly see he has done the work so I'm not too worried. Power steering feels nicer after a fluid top-up too.
Here is a picture of what the old pads were like

So all in all I guess it could have been worse, its the initial shock of it being 700 when you hoped for 200, but in the grand scheme of things, its a porsche and it is now also very safe. Just annoying because I know I want to upgrade it this year, thinking 964 but thats another matter all together.
