Do keep up Peter [:D][:D][:D]

[:)] Doh!

Looks lovely Tony, especially the interior. Just need to add a tow hook and you'll have the perfect two car garage [:D]

I'll be there from sparrow call Thursday, through to Sunday night so should be well ready for a beer by Sunday lunch time. [:)]

Please note that, while we have the largest Club area, infield parking is still limited to a couple of hundred cars. If you haven't already ordered a ticket and car pass through the Silverstone ticket system I am afraid you won't get in to the stand parking. We are hoping to have an overspill Porsche only car park again though.

Good question above ! , whats this Fire Engine bar , is it actullay a bar / restautant casual smart etc . Some poor folk haven't been before [;)]

It's only a bar thing, made out of an old fire engine. About as smart as a burger van, so come dressed however you like.

Hopefully Chapati Man will be there. The best food every served from a mobile catering outfit, fantastic curries in warm chapati wrap.

I now have 2 tickets for the Sunday , thanks again Ron!

However to get to the porsche parking will need Ron's pass - Anyone going Saturday and Sunday (ideally from the south) that could get the pass from Ron Saturday and meet up on the Sunday outside Silverstone somewhere. (or even Saturday night if you are within say an hour of me)

Oh and will Yasmine (3YO) need a ticket?

thanks
Tony

Tony, I am there both Saturday and Sunday and am staying in Northampton on the Saturday night, so if we can sort something out am happy to rendezvous somewhere outside Silverstone to get the pass to you.

Thanks Jon, I will ask Ron to give the pass to you and will PM you with my mobile number, I expect we will be later than you will want to get there so I can always park, come and find you, then leave and re-enter,
Cheers,
Tony

Tony, the infield access stops at 10:30, so you'll need to up early!
Mike

Edit - Hope you make it as I'd love to see the cab.

I thought it was 10.00? They are really hot on the timing, it doesn't matter what pass you have you'll not get in after the cut-off. And, you won't be leaving before the release time.

Fair enough, they want to avoid cars moving around through crowds and to keep the displays full.

Anyway, where's this Fire Engine bar, is anyone camping and is a group actually getting together somewhere?

I might have moved to a GT3, but I'm still a 944 boy at heart - always a great crowd!

Cheers

Mark

[:-] not jealous at all honestly[;)]

p.s. Mr Sims!! Right I have to come, it's been years. Will you be in the 944?

Do you remember staying with us for the Fells & Lakes weekend etc.

Hi Mark , I remember you too, I took my wife and then two youngest son's to the second ( i think ) lakes weekend, good to see your still around mate and congrats on the GT3...:)

Pete

BTW we stayed with Dave and his family, can't remember his surname but a very nice family, made us feel very welcome.

Pete

Pete,
You will have stopped with Dave Garner (Cayenne Turbo) his 944 Turbo has just been sold to Sulzeruk for breaking, Mark Roberts GT3 is lovely and sounds awesome. Dave was at the LM Classic with us.
Jim.

Well had a really good time and nice to see faces old and new there, not the numbers of '44's that we had on previous occasions (seemed that numbers in general were down) but I think everyone who did turn up enjoyed themselves.

Seconded. Strange how few 944s were out, it's a great motorsport event and the weather was perfect today. Numbers were down over the whole weekend, as the lady on the Pasty stall explained whilst discounting my mid-morning snack as I was a PCGB member. Unusual member-benefit, but very tasty. [8|]

I'm assuming that it was too close to Porsche and Polo, which is only two weeks away. You all have tickets purchased with the advance-booking discount, don't you? Entrance is cheaper than a burger at Silverstone.
