The Yorkshire Big Breakfast Meet - Oct 19th

Goodwood has a breakfast meet, as does the Ace Café. There hasn't been anything similar up North, until now.

Sunday October 19th sees the inaugural Yorkshire Big Breakfast Meet to be held at Specialist Cars of Malton, meeting at 9am. It is anticipated different groups (Porsche Club GB, Pistonheads, TIPEC etc) will organise runs out ending up at Malton so keep an eye on the forums.

Malton is on the edge of some of the best driving roads in the North, and on the A64 (links with the A1 / M1) for anyone needing to make a quick exit home afterwards.

A complimentary breakfast awaits those attending. There is ample free parking, a chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones plus see some exotic machinery including those at the venue, Specialist Cars of Malton.

We are wanting to make this a regular event for the North so hope as many as possible can make it.

Sounds a good idea, free that weekend and would not mind going along for the morning.

John

Well done John and the Specialist team !!

Im always a tart for a free breakfast. John and Mr Pink always great hosts!

Go on then, I'll come along. What time should I arrive and how long will it take me to get there from Junc 38 of the M1?[:)] As you may have guessed, I have never been to Specialistcars before.

Cheers, Mike,

I'd very much like to go to this one as, somehow, I've managed to miss every gathering since I joined the club.
So I'll not curse it by saying I'll be there... but I'll try.
Somehow a free breakfast still seems like a good deal after spending £50 on petrol to get it.

we are palnning to come along to this from north Leicestershire. (J13 M42= Ashby) aim to get there about 9amish. so would guess we'll be leaving about 7am if anyone fancies a convoy[8D]

First post on the forum and would like to be included in the breakfast on Sunday (2 people).
I will be travelling from the Tingley area in Leeds and wondered if anybody was organising a meet to drive over in convoy (not been to Malton before although I have got directions from earlier posts)
Let me know if anybody is interested
Tony

I don't have a great track record at getting up early on a Sunday morning - the crucial question is - up until what time are bacon sarnis being served ?

I think I will attend from sunny Brighouse

We're keeping the catering till lunch to allow for people travelling from afar, and for those who can't haul themselves out of bed early on a Sunday morning.

I am up for this, I just need to get my car back from my mate. Is anyone setting off from Sheffield? If so what time?
