The Yorkshire Big Breakfast Meet - Oct 19th

Its a great sunny day here on the coast - sun climbing out of the sea so get yourselves out of bed.

See you in Malton

What a great event. Have to say that I went to support John H. as I was concerned that he wouldn't get enough people turning up. Nothing could have been further from the truth - the place was heaving with visitors - lots of Porsches, some TVRs, Caterhams/Westfields and bikers.

A really good morning out seeing old friends and John was as generous as usual with bacon sandwiches /coffee etc. Those of you who had 4 ( you know who you are ) probably won't eat for next 24 hrs!

It looks as if this may become a quarterly event and let's hope it does. Only improvement I can see is the facility for the visitors to make some contribution to a charity to show our gratitude for the excellent catering.

Thanks again

Andrew W.

WHAT A DAY! WE NORTHERNERS CAN SHOW THOSE SOUTHERNERS THAT WE HAVE A BETTER "ACE CAFE" THIS IS TRIPLE A RATED NOT LIKE THE BANKS!!!!!!

AGREE WITH YOU ANDREW, WE WERE ASTONISHED WHEN WE TURNED INTO THE ROAD - MUST HAVE BEEN IN EXCESS OF 300 ATTENDED. IT WAS GOOD TO MEET UP WITH LOTS OF OLD FRIENDS FROM LANCASHIRE, NORTH EAST AND NOTTINGHAM.

HOPEFULLY SOME PICS WILL BE POSTED - HAVE SENT TO IAN - BEYOND MY CAPABILITY.

OUR THANKS TO JOHN HAWKINS AT SPECIALISTS AND A SPECIAL MENTION TO MARK "SUPER SALESMAN" AND NOW "SUPER ORGANISER".

Sounds like I missed a great event!

So that we can tell averyone else about it, would anyone like to volunteer to write a couple of paragraphs for Porsche Post and maybe send some photos? Publicity would be good or all concerned.

Well done Mr Pink. Well organised and a real treat. A great turnout of Porsches and TVRs with a handfull of Fezzas, Keef's Lambo, Caterhams and Lotus 7 look-a-likes, a Lotus, Jaguar XJ220, Audi Quattro and few classics too. Petrolhead heaven with great food included too! A real hit and ideal opportunity to meet some familiar people and to meet some new ones too.
