That's really bad news, does someone have a grudge against you, or is it just that your car is too easily accessible?.
FWIW my Insurance stipulated that my car must be garaged, and that is even when we live in a closed private gated community with security gates, where no one passing could possibly see the car.
Seems that just too many of the great unwashed are jealous of our cars!!
What a sad state that the UK has come to this.
Sorry again.
Nigel.

AFIK, it is no grudge, just mindless vandelism.
I am looking to both put in some sort of video kit into the car, but also find a garage to rent / buy. Looking yesterday, the only buy option was £ 80,000 which is not really a goer as far as I am concerned.
Dependent on price, I will probably pay for this myself as I do have a concern at possible insurance requirements at renewal in April. The repair quote should be with me this afternoon.

Have you thought about moving house?!! Or getting rid of your car. Drastic messures I know but I don't think I could stand the fact that it's happened twice and would worry myself sick every night.[]
Hope you get the bar stewards.

If a garage is £80k, as sad as it seems, if it was me I would have to sell up. It is just not worth the hassle. I know some people would say it is giving in but enough is enough.
Would this sort of damage affect residual value?

I live in a very mixed area with both wealthy city types / entrepeneurs and those on benefits. There are a few 911s around me, a couple of Astons and a very pretty rebuilt Jensen Interceptor. All on the road and so far without issue.
I am looking for a garage though!

I have worked hard enough to get one of these with 1.5 heart attacks before aged 40 to get here and will not let these "throwers of things in the air" win! My toy and I will play with it.
I don't know about residuals, but a resprayed car to get rid of stone chips does not seem to suffer.
Good for you
Sorry to hear about this
If this was a proper country the little Sh 1 TE's would get a jolly good birching and made to repay the cost of repair, through their own labors -
No doubt if you had caught them on camera you'd be taken to court for the emotional distress caused to them by having something nice they can't afford and would promptly be sent to an overcrowded prison, while a murderer would be set free early to make room for you
The place has gone to pot [:-][:-][:-]
Hope the respray wasnt't too expensive

I do worry that they are doing it with paint stripper, so totally pre meditated..[]
However as pointed out, you work hard for your pleasures in life and like you I wouldn't give it up easily.
I hope you find the scrotes before they attack again.
