They have been back!

Marc,

That is absolutely disgusting. I really feel for you. I must admit, if I caught them I would probably absolutely lose control and unleash all anger upon them through my fists. What sort of an up bringing do these people have?

Terrible thing to happen to anyones car. Maybe a respray and paintshield application would hold up better in your location. The paintshield film is supposedly keyproof as well as resistant to most chemicals.

Thanks for the thoughts people.

AFIK, it is no grudge, just mindless vandelism.

I am looking to both put in some sort of video kit into the car, but also find a garage to rent / buy. Looking yesterday, the only buy option was £ 80,000 which is not really a goer as far as I am concerned.

Dependent on price, I will probably pay for this myself as I do have a concern at possible insurance requirements at renewal in April. The repair quote should be with me this afternoon.

Big Dog on a long lead would be cheaper something like a Rottweiler !

If found I would suggest a small dark room and a few Porsche owners with big sticks !

Well the good news is I have found a secure garage for the car. Not ideal in as much it is not attached to the house, but the owner can at least see the garage from her house. A very tight fit and 20 mins walk away, but at least a garage that should stop the passing paint stripper!

Well I dropped the "wee beastie" off at Bodytechnics today for the respray. Two weeks without a Pcar [:(]. Well it should come back smiling again ready to park in a warm garage away from the yobbing crowd.

As they are only respraying the damaged parts, I am looking forward to seeing how carefully it all blends with the non stripped rear offside wing, roof and drivers door.

I will let you all know the results.
