Thinking of getting these!

The sizes and offsets (and pics) of the ones I had can be found here:

BTW the 16 inch cup style wheels were never officially described as 'Cup 1' or 'Cup'. They were introduced as the standard 968 wheel (and may have been an option for late 944s - hence the part number). The cup description was only used for wheels of 17 inch or bigger. In fact, I think a pukka Cup 1 was only ever available in 17 inch as a genuine Porsche wheel.

ORIGINAL: Dekker

I think the ET70's are for turbo bodied cars, is that what you have?

No, I have a standard C2.

It seems like the advantage of these wheels would be that they are lighter & therefore reduce unsprung mass.

The ones I have seen would be much cheaper than the ones Steve was offering but would probably require some refurb.

I'm intrigued by these wheels Colin because they're the first 16s in that pattern that I've heard of that are available as 9 inch width. The widths and offsets that you quote sound the same as the standard fitments for a 993. Albeit that those offsets are usually found on 17s on the 993.

Hi
I hae a set of 16 inch original cup wheels 7 and 8's front and rears with ET 55 on both, I bought them with the intention to put on my 964 when and if ever I decided to sell it, then I would keep the 17's.
They are not perfect but would not need a refurb, tyres are mixed. But I would want £350 for them.
You can just see them in the bottom of this image

Colin, if you fancy some 17s at a good price. These finish on ebay in 9 hours

996 carrera 4 wheels

I've got a set these for my track wheels.

Alternatively if you want something a bit more special, there's a set of Cup 2s in the for sale section. At £500 they're very reasonably priced IMO and the seller, Jim, is a good guy to deal with.
