THIS SATURDAY!! -FREE Check Over Inspection

Apologies but i can no longer make the inspection this saturday Hope you have a good day. Regards Elliot

Sorry, I now have to drop out too. Look forward to meeting some fellow owners at another event one day!

Adam and his crew were open for us from 8.30 Steve Henson, Talat and I (with my two boys) and a German called Wilfred with a sense of humour (nice bloke) ..... were the only attendees...... Thanks Adam again for the hospitatlity and your free services on the day, a very professional and clean kept modern garage so close to SE London. Lovely 911S 2.4 and 911T amongst others ..... [:)]

Hey, I was there too. I had it in my diary for between 9:00 - 14:00, so I got there for about 12:30. Was great to talk to Adam and his colleagues, I think they will be good for basic servicing duties and then to centre gravity for geo. I had a good look over yours while it was on the lift Des. I must says it was looking very clean, unlike mine which had done a 300 mile lap of the midlands last weekend in all conditions so was looking pretty filthy. I'm quite happy that after 37,000 there's only a drop link and some coil packs that could use replacement but it isn't desperate. It was the first time I'd been under my car since I got it. I was very glad to see all was clean and dry under there. Many thanks to Adam for the hospitality, I was baby sitting a friend's boy for the day , he loved being able to see around the workshop and especially the 911S and 911T, I'd love to make space in the shed for that 911S...

Hands up didn't make -did leave phone msg -went out for lovely birthday dinner with Mrs Melv Fri night (Cloche Hat, Chobham -highly recommended) and basically.....overslept!! [&:] I'd even included some work on my way back from Kent......[;)]

Glad you made it Nigel and got Adam to inspect the beast ....... are you coming to Brands 10 April?

Hey Des ! - now you know what it feels like to organise a City of London Curry Night when the restaurant asks where are the other 9 people we are holding tables for [8|] I might have made the trip over but it clashed with the Callughan / Pistonheads Porsche London Meet which was a half track day at Bedford , setting out from Park Royal (!) at 10 am Saturday morning. I can understand why you had a poor turn out if you were getting the same weather we got going up the M1 , the quick boys slowed down to 50 even before the speed restricted parts , was not too bad in the 911E because of the skinny tyres. BTW Bedford was as bad as you can imagine for track driving with standing water 2/3 of the way down the main straight ( GT circuit) ....even the E acquaplaned and the speed differential vis a vis 997GT3RS ( prob on MPSCs) not too great as a result [:D] . Managed to be about slowest on track but definitely the most beautiful [:)] ....no pics unfortunately.

ORIGINAL: oldtimer ....no pics unfortunately.
Doh! Not good enough John!! Des -I know it's feckin depressing when u organize these things and only a few turn up -bet they'd come if they'd paid.........[&:]
