This weekend, I'll be mostly....

ORIGINAL: appletonn

I'll also mostly be trying to remove my o/s rear lamp cluster to reseal it as there is a slight weap intp the boot from it - trouble is, someone has sealed it with some black body sealant at some point and it doesn't want to come out[8|]

On that topic, I think I might have made a slight boo boo when I ordered the light seal from the PET number - I've ended up with a big roll of the stuff; that's why the total bill was so high...![8|][8|]

So if you need any strips of the stuff cutting off and posting, I'm your man!

Just stick a couple of quid in a Cancer research envelope or something similar

I may trouble you for some of that at some point aswell Nick if I am not being too cheeky.

Glad to contribute to it.

Cheers

Lee

No problem - just let me know how much you need., oh and an address of course![:D]

Only contribution should be to Cancer Research or MacMillan Nurses, up to you.

...driving. First off in the new GF's Saab 9-3 Cabrio, then taking the BMW to my OPC to test drive a nice Basalt Black Cayman that they have in, then carrying on to collect the S2 from the batcave (or rented garage depending on your point of view).

So four cars in one day, turbo four, inline six, flat six, inline four - should make for some interesting power delivery comparisons. Either that or I'll just get very confused. [;)]

On saturday I will be looking at a fully original, low mile '91 turbo for sale. I hope it's not the unmolested, pristine car I was told it was as I have no justification whatsoever for buying a third 944 [8|]

Rubbish! It's easy to lever them out with a large screwdriver, scratching the paint and causing it to rust later. At least, that's how mine was done. []

Oh, of course, you don't need the sealer if you are selling the car. Let the new owner deal with it. [][]

I'd forgotten how p*ssed off I was with the PO of my car! [:D]

it wasn't a guy from Southampton was it ? uses gaffa tape to fix the carpets,... cassette hinge,.....trip switch....rear hatch switch............[]

Dodging the rain showers and finding missing tools whilst attempting to replace the CV joints. The CV joints will be quite straightforward compared to the other two!

I will be giving my S2 (and possibly my Traveller) a wash and interior clean, and possibly polishing and waxing the roof on the S2 (ongoing effort to prevent the red paint going pink!)

Just getting ready for the first outdoor round of the R21 karting. I hour endurance and it might rain, I'm too old for this! []

Rest of the weekend is working. [][]
