It'll be quiet Jane. No one will turn up if the table dancers are not in the house!

So i took my first trip along to the - fake capital, tram loving,Royal mile walking, castle visiting, english speaking, rugby loving East Coast meet at Queensferry[;)]. I was expecting to see a new group of Porsche enthusiasts only to find that the West Coast crew were all there - few new faces including the new RO assistent Ash but the west coast guys definaetly propped them up and provided all if not one of the 6 Porsches in the Car park[;)]. Nice venue and the usual car talk with a few ideas from "KIM" about a wee drive to Cliffs?Cliffords?Clives?............apparently they do good chicken nuggets???[:D][:D]

P.S. I was in my official first Porsche convoy for about 300metres on my way out of the Dakota carpark before the roundabout took us our different ways. Porsche Speedster followed by a Speed Yellow 996 Turbo,my Silver C4S and a Gaurds Red 996 Turbo with a private plate probably worth more than my car[;)]. Oh and my car done 30.4mpg for the first time on my leisurly drive home.

Hi Gotta996 glad that you made it over to Dakota last night. It is a nice venue and the staff make you very welcome.

Wish I could have made it but I spent the day walking round the caravan and boat show at the SECC in Glasgow yesterday and the last thing I felt like doing was going out again ( old age and all that ~ ask Brian he knows about it too [8D] )

The next meeting is Thursday 6th March and so far I have nothing on my calendar so hope to make it then [;)]

Yes Clives is excellent I have been there with LBD for lunch so maybe lunch there one day would be nice?

At least in edinburgh no-one has a "whine" to their accent that would make you believe their Giro day was never going to arrive.

Yours....Stirling lass (and therefore in neutral territory!)
