Thursday meeting 7th February

ORIGINAL: Jane Smart

Hi Gotta996 glad that you made it over to Dakota last night. It is a nice venue and the staff make you very welcome.

Wish I could have made it but I spent the day walking round the caravan and boat show at the SECC in Glasgow yesterday and the last thing I felt like doing was going out again ( old age and all that ~ ask Brian he knows about it too [8D] )

The next meeting is Thursday 6th March and so far I have nothing on my calendar so hope to make it then [;)]

Yes Clives is excellent I have been there with LBD for lunch so maybe lunch there one day would be nice?

Jane x

Poo, how's about we go there on Saturday 1st March? Your Geordie Buddy is up and I'm at yours Friday 31st?. Take the Boxster and the TVR (TVR will get a nose bleed from travel beyond Tesco, and probably break down in Stirling!).

Anyone else for lunch? We could be proper tourists too Jane and do The Castle. That'll be a novalty for our Weegie friends as they don't have a castle.

Anyway, see you tonight. What you wearing?

I was waiting for one of you East Coasters to take offence to my generally agreed views by all on Edinburgh[;)]

P.S. Your central Alison? Can you explain what that Big Horn just after Harthill services is for then? Does it tell you to slow down? or is it your take on Modern Art[:D]

Ali cannot take the TVR on the Saturday as my geordie pal has her daughter with her, way aye lass

and I will probably have a hangover too, as I am saving my boozing for a Friday and Saturday now and probably won't want to drive either [&:]

Tonight wearing a short dress and black leather knee length boots [8D]

Poo xx

Jane, you take Geordie Chick and I take Junior Geordie Chick? Or I can take the Merc? (but thats dull as hell).

OK. Attire noted. Call you later!

I felt perfectly fine on Saturday Poo! Must've been that double Irish coffee that settled me into a blissful dream and negated the hangover!

See you soon.
