TOCA Race Driver 2

It does have the Nurburgring Sprint track (Nordschliefe), Hokenheim and the Brands Indy circuit amoung others. It's also got a Ford GT a Vanquish and an XJ220plus 32 other cars.[8D]

But I won't tell you that[;)]

The Ford GT is awesome. Superb blend of huge power and a balanced chassis. I didn't think the modern Norschleif was what the boys were after so I didn't mention that.

Hi Rich

Does TOCA 2 cover all the main British club circuits (most were in TOCA 1 I think).

Thanks

I learnt Oulton and Donington from the original TOCA, but found that the circuits in TOCA Race Driver were not as faithful to the original or the real thing!!

After driving Donington for real at 1m 37/38's in my old 964C4, got my lap time on the game down to 1m 10secs in a Ford Mondeo!![:D] -bare in mind at the time the Fiesta Challenge lap record was 1m 27secs, kinda puts it in perspective.......[&o]

Unfortunately not. It has Oulton, Brands and Donny only I think, then a bunch of international stuff. It has Mount Panorama which is cool, but losing out on Knockhill etc. isn't good.

I think I'd rather have Mount Panorama, at least it shouldn't be raining.

I learnt Oulton and Donington from the original TOCA,

When I started racing most of the other guys on the grid had bought TOCA for that reason, even the series champion.

I believe Jaques Villenueve learnt the European tracks from Playstation before he came to FI from KART in the US.

Just a quick "heads up".

The Bathurst 1000 (from last weekend) is on Channel 5 this coming Tuesday night (actually 1:50 Wednesday morning, but you know what I mean!)

Always entertaining![;)]

(Edit to correct time/channel!)

Tks for that Mark. Bathurst also on Toca Race Driver -includes a very scary downhill bit......[&:]
