Any questions please get in touch.

Hi Gresley

I booked a table for 4 last week direct with the restaurant. Myself & codriver meeting up wit the ladies at the restaurant. Table reserved for 3 PM nominally as I wasn't sure how far behind the experts we would be!! I will double check this with them in the light of your comment on numbers. Regards... Ian

Ian

Thanks for letting me know - it could be helpful if others who are taking part let us know via this thread if they have reserved or are going to.

Thanks

Andrew and Steve

Hello boys, we are booked for the run but due to Michaels recent transplant we may not be able to make it.
We will wait for the weekend to see how he is and if all is ok will probably come over in the Clk as it will be more comfortable for him.
We would like to eat at the restaurant but obviously cannot give a definate booking at this stage.
Will let you know on Saturday evening.

Thanks, Chris Chappell

Chris

Thought that you might have to rearrange but didn't want to trouble you.

Really hope you all can get there on Sunday and it will be especially good to see Michael - but we will completely understand if you cannot make it.

I will let restaurant know that there is the possibilty of 3 "extras " - no obligation.

Glad to hear that all is going well,

Andrew

Hi Andrew
Booked the meal last week, but just checked with them to make sure and they have confirmed we have a table. See you Sunday

Regards
Graham and Maz

Hi Andrew

Booked two for lunch by email on Monday. Just rung them to check as I've had no reply and I wasn't booked in. I am now, but if anybody else has booked by email and had no reply it may be worth a call to check.

See you all on Sunday.

Hi Andrew and Steve

Many thanks for organising the event--it was great again this year--the roads were interesting with some great views--and some dodgy cyclists as well!

Everything felt like it ran like clockwork--a tribute to the organising and planning.

Best wishes

Steve

Many thanks Andrew and Steve for organising a great day out - attention to detail was a credit to you both. It was good to meet up with region 7 members and friends, in particular, seeing Michael enjoying the event.

Our thanks to John & Tanya at the Market Place restaurant for providing an excellent lunch.

Regards
John & Rita

White Boxster (not so white after farm roads!)

Dear Steve & Andrew,

A big thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable and well organised event and sorry we couldn't make it to the Market Place for lunch as family commitments beckoned.

Really good to meet other forum members too.

Thanks again.

Scott (& Steve)
Red GT3

PS. interested to find out the final results as I didn't get chance to see/hear any final mileages.

Andrew and Steve

Thanks very much for a great day out. The way things ran so smoothly is a credit to the time and effort you both put into the planning and organsiation and the attention to detail was excellent - we were particularly impressed with out allocated 'out' time from Burton Agnes Hall! Thanks also to Karen for her great help with running the day.

Looking forward to next year already.

Ian and Sharon

Sorry for the no show - unfortunately our morning was spent on the back of a recovery wagon (looks like this winters engine rebuild will have to be brought forward by six months!) Sounds like we missed a great event!

PS Thanks to the couple in the blue boxster who stopped on the Humber Bridge on the way to the event to offer their help, much appreciated.

Many thanks for a great day out - much enjoyed - great route through the Wolds. Saw parts of Yorkshire I didn't know and I am a Yorkshireman!!

Okay folks - another year and from the feedback another enjoyable event!

So :- many thanks to

1. Anne and Paul at the Triton ( Best Restaurant in Hull 2009 ) for providing great coffee and rolls.

2. Burton Agnes Hall for allowing us to use them as a halt ( at no charge ).

3. Tanya, John and their team for providing such a welcoming atmosphere and such great food.

4. Humberside traffic police for being so helpful once again.

5. Ian and Sharon for goodie bags and some budget to enable event to run.

6. Steve and Karen for the hours of work that they have contributed to making this event a success again.

Commiserations to Andrew Cater who seems fated not to get to a R7 event - thanks for letting us know when clearly you had many other things on your mind.

Congratulations to the winner and runner up - could not have been any closer !

Please let us know how we can improve this for next year - we want the event to grow - any suggestions gratefully received.

FINALLY - Thank you ALL who turned out to make this such a good natured and enjoyable event ( esp. Mike Chapell ).

Roll on 2010

Andrew

I can only agree with everyones comments, wonderful days driving, very happy with the result for a couple of first timers, even at the cost of Lorraine being car sick and me having to navigate the second leg, as well as driving.
Can I also say a big thanks to John & Tanya at the Market Place restaurant for providing an excellent lunch.
Looking forward to next year, now I know what to expect

Lorraine & Steve
