Turbo ARB's

Ok "best" poss wasnt to most apropriate word....
It all depends on how much "messing about" Oli is wanting to do.
Personally i think the Welts are a step to far, especially for a road / occasional track car...In fact im not even contemplating fitting a set + ide say my car is more track than road now... Just too many variables / adjustments + too much messing around to try + "dial" in the correct / comfy settings...Not to add the extra weight.. + "we" dont want more weight... [;)][8|][;)][8|]

I don't necessarily disagree with any of that, although I would say that at least you have the opportunity to dial out some nastiness (should there be any) using the ARBs if you have adjustable ones.

Paul,

Bushes from Powerflex are about 12 quid a pair. And I think it takes three pairs to do the whole car.

It's MUCH cheaper than new ARB's!

Oli.

I must be looking in the wrong place, on the Powerflex website bushes for the front and rear anti roll bars are about £110.

Shocks were done about 20k* miles ago, with Koni adjustables. Poly bushes from Powerflex were fitted at the same time. I have yet to do the camber mounts, but they will follow soon (hopefully.)

If you fitted the popular 8641-1414 Sport inserts at the front and the 8040-1035 Sport at the rear you should be able to reach the high level of shock stiffness required to make 968 M030 ARBs work properly and then feel a significant difference with your current ARBs, and as far as I have found out it means setting them on full stiff.
You may therefore first set your shocks on full stiff and see if it's acceptable for the kind of roads you take your car on.

PS.
Pete, im not having it done,, more doing it myself....Nothing too radical....[;)][:D]

Hi Dave, well that doesn't help does it [;)] Now I'm even more curious [:D]

With regards to the arb's I'm very happy with my 968 M030 ones, I obviously don't know how much better the Welts are as I've not back to back compared them, but at the moment they're not something I have any desire to change - for me/my car they really are that good.
