The very one in the earlier post I will post some pics when we get it All I got to do now is get used to the paddles I am sure it won't take long Paul Tanya

ORIGINAL: Oggy still remember when the 997 crew came "Up North" and we did the dales run....that was fun !!
It certainly was [8D] We've been back up since then and did the Hartside pass and south out of Alston- Paul hasn't forgotten that road yet!!! [:D] Sadly no locals came and joined in..[]

Looks fantastic and with 530 BHP, will be a serious weapon on the road also [:)] I bought an M3 DCT a couple of months ago as I'm not doing many business miles now and fancied something a little different to my string of BMW diesels. Paddles are intuitive & addictive. I use them all the time (unless sat in traffic on the motorway). Still love the manual box in my Turbo but have to admit, the paddles can also be a lot of fun [:D]

Yes, I bumped into you all at the Wensleydale creamery. You and a couple of GT3 RS's minus front splitters [:D] How is the 12C going ? Planning a return to Pork yet ??

Disappointed backing out for a house is acceptable deserting to paddles is not so good but I guess you need to try it and decide. I did and am a happy bunny having moved back but each to his own, clutch or paddles ?? I took my sons new girl friend out for a spin today and realised just what a machine it is I really should use it more. Anyway Paul show us some pictures and let us know what you think. Enjoy Geoff

That's right we did swap paths on the day. [:D] I lost a bit from under my car on the Norway trip- so all is equal with bits falling off I think! I keep looking having actually spotted a TurboS in black very similar to Paul's lovely new machine, which at the time was the perfect spec I was after. However the 991 GT3 seems to offer what I think I need as does the current steed. Sadly for my use and wants the GT3RS is just a step too far and I think I'd break it more than this one!! I think if I stepped back into Porsche then it would be for some open top motoring and to save on servicing costs [:-] I'm certainly up for another run across those roads though [8D][:D]

This sort of thing perhaps. A nice sunny day on decent roads can take some beating

Nick, spot on... although I did have so much fun in the Turbo Cabriolet I once had.

Reading through this thread you had me worried for a minute Paul - thought you were leaving the Register [:-] Looks a fabulous car, I'd have one in a heartbeat if I was allowed. You'll get used to the paddles in no time, Paul prefers driving using the paddles to leaving it in auto apart from in town traffic. He even drives my Merc on the paddles - I tried it once and didn't like it much, but then I'm a lazy bugger! Enjoy your new wheels [:D]
