Turbo Vs S2

Not trying to get the new 968 Register Secretary paying me a visit! [;)]
Come on Paul, what are you afraid of? We'd have 'im, easily. No, really. Bring it on. In fact, why doesn't he bring his mates as well? Yes, all of them. The 944 boys would see off a load of 968 pansies, easy! They're all talk and no trousers. Can't run away quickly enough either as their cars never make the promised horsepower!

(As long as they don't turn their headlights on. That would be a worryingly frightening sight and may turn the tables to their advantage. Ugh! >Shudders< )

Oli.

I know I have taunted you on the PH thread Rav, but I tested both Turbo and S2 before buying my Turbo. I have had 6 SAAB Turbos and a couple of Scoobies, so the 951's power delivery felt quite familiar, reminding me of my favourite SAAB, my ol' '98 9000CSE 2.3T run out model, fitted with the Aero engine and LSD (and some tweakage to take it close to 300BHP). That too was a big 4 pot with a big turbo, so Boost had to managed to get the best from it.

I did the school run today, 28 miles there like a vicar whilst the kiddies ate brekkie, then 28 miles cross-country hooning to get back, leaving it a gear too high sometimes so that I could surf the Boooooost wave when it finally spun up, magic!

She is starting to dance for me now as I get to know her better.

In terms of value, since buying mine there has been some good media coverage of the 951 such as Wheeler Dealers and the latest Clarkson DVD, where he waxes lyrical about it, so maybe that has had an effect?

Mate took some pics as I left his house a couple of weeks ago (just to rub it in...)
