Your tyre wear does seem to mirror what I have experienced on my 993 C2. The car used to be used daily by me for a 100 mile round trip every day from Bath to Andover and back. Some fast roads across Salisbury Plain and not too many speed cameras. Car had new Continentals on when I first purchased it. Rears lasted about 5000 miles. Replaced them with the same (twice) and got 4500 and 3800 from subsequent sets. Complained to Continental and they gave me a refund of £200 as they examined the tyres and confirmed the geometry etc was not out on the car. Fitted P Zero Rosso's all round and got 4000 from first set of rears. Put a new set on with all new suspension and full geometry set up. They've done about 2000 miles and are 40% worn.
The only way I could get anywhere near 15000 miles would be if I jacked all four wheels off the ground and left the engine running for a month.

Don't encourage him, Melv !! He already turns rotors blue in one track day !! ..[&:]
I have consistently got 10,000 + out of Asimmetricos and S02s, but probably 60% - 75% of my mileage is on A and M roads ... and I am a sympathetic driver (no, that's not sad !) even on my one or two track appearances a year .. which are now on SSRs anyway !
So 5,000 is going some, I still think its not right .. although those blue rotors are a little worrying. I hope to do Bedford soon, so I reserve the right to modify my opinions .. []
cheers, Maurice []
SSR's you tart !! bedford needs road tyres then you can prastice tail sliding in and out of the slower - medium corners......
it's taken me some serious track action all over europe, pagid blue pads, 5.1 fluid, techart coolers and a heavy weight targa to finally wear out my front discs after 6000 miles and that's only because they have been through so many heat cycles verses the higher spec pads and fluid, the faces are all cracked even though there is minimal wear to the depth of the dics, apart from the circular grooves around the discs ! .....and I know I'm using those brakes !
but you can get duff discs and skipping the odd cool down can cause problems.... but it's a 911, just get on a fresh set and get back out there, watch it as it will last double next time, hell even tripple !!
Spoke to the man (reliable) who does the tyres - he reckons 7k-ish. Well, I reckon I might have about another 500-750 miles left, but you can't take chances with tyres.
Apparently, Pilot Sports (N1) may have a longer life, but you're not advised to mix them with the different rated P Zeros on the front.
So, good tyres, shame about the ridiculous wear rate.

You shouldn't have any more wear on one side to the other either. I also run them at 4psi lower than the recommended 44psi(!) for the rears, as at 44psi they can wear much quicker in the centre of the tyre.
Have Continental Contact N2 on the back now (as I couldn't get the PZeros at the time) - when the PZeros are finished (soon) on the fronts, I will match up with Contis there too[].
Some of the most sophisticated equipment in the wrong hands is a total waste of time and money.
Ive had soft Pirelli Corsas, with pretty extreme geo, and done a handful of trips to the Nurburgring in a season, with 80 or so sub 9 min laps, including 400 motorway miles each way plus a few outings at home and
got way more than 5k out of them!!
