Tyres for a 993? Gotta be interesting! (For a 1995 Nissan Micra? Maybe not so.)ORIGINAL: Robertb
Gosh, who would have thought that such a dull topic as tyres could spark such controversy!

In a moment of indecision, I am now considering P Zero...
The Pirelli site suggests P Zero Rosso all round, OR P Zero Rosso Direzionale at the front, and P Zero Rosso at the back... what's this P Zero System concept all about then? Any recommendation?
Who would have thought that buying some tyres could be fraught with such confusion...

The original Pirelli 17" fitment for 993s was Direzionale fronts with Asimmetrico rears (not Rosso). You may be able to find some somewhere, but they are pretty much NLA.The current approval would be PZ Asimmetrico Rossos all round.

Cabs were not approved for 18s until 96 MY, Targas never.
