Ultimate 964 Colour .... ?

Look left (of course) [:)]

My favourite colours are Arena Red and Aventura Green, neither of which are common 964 colours, more often seen on 993s.

For me they are more classy...[8|]

Got to be Maritime, Mint Green, Speed Yellow then White.

I think Hacki's comments about white are very true, its such a perenial 911 colour and it works right up to 964. Esp. with a bit of colour embelishment to help set it off.

That said, I love the orange car above and also lusted after it for a while its been on the market forever. I'm clearly biased, but I spent a long time searching for a Maritime, Mint or yellow RS. The original press shots of the Maritime 964RS I think are great.

I think colour is special to:

Cup Car = White

NGT = Mint reen

Lighweight = Maritime

Touring = Midnight Blue

C2/4 = Signal Green

wonder why there are so few in Cassis.......very strange[8|]

everyone says buy on condition not colour.....I say condition and handlebars on the correct side of the gearleaver [:D]

favourites:
Viper
White
Maritime / Amethyst
Rubystone / Polar
Midnight / Coral / Cassis
Guards / Black
Yellow / Mint

Paul Mclean had that car .... great colour .... Hmmm ... Yes GT3RS looks good above, but certain colours work for certain models ... 993 = Riviera Blue, 930 = GP White 2.2s =Bamboo 964 = ?

I'd say Maritime Blue for a 964 ...

Agree

This is the first one I've seen in Gulf Blue and I like it a lot! [:)]

Lovely! I quite like it too! But wouldnt make the top 5.

Oh and its begging for decals dont you think. Des could sort that out.

I agree on both counts and also think the colour suits the early 911 better hence why I chose that particular pic to post [:)]
